Coffee Arabica has been grown on the slope of Mauna Kea for more that 150 years. The region's rich volcanic soil, bright sunny mornings, and tropical afternoon showers provide unique growing conditions. The beans mature slowly here, developing the complexity and density present in only the highest grade coffee.
Our beans are pesticide free, and only the plumpest red fruit is hand-plucked for harvest. They are sun-dried, and locally fired to a vibrant medium plus roast. This reveals the nutty depth for which the Kona crop is prized.
