Welcome to Rowesview Coffee Farm
We are Ron and Joanie Rowe, the owners of Rowesview Coffee Farm. Ron retired from 33 years as a Firefighter in Laguna Beach, California and Joanie retired after 23 years in education. We have owned our farm since 1994 and work the land ourselves. We strived to bring this wonderful, but badly neglected, farm back to life.

We cleared the land and planted about 1,000 more coffee trees. We were both avid gardeners on the U.S. mainland and coming to Hawaii has allowed us to do what we love, growing things and 100% Kona Coffee is perfect.

Our 100% Kona Coffee is mountain grown, without the use of pesticides, on the slope of Mauna Loa volcano at an elevation of 1400 to 1550 feet. At this elevation the cloud cover comes in every day and shades our coffee allowing it to mature slowly. This unique condition gives our coffee beans time to reach the highest quality of prized larger grades, and denser beans such as Extra-Fancy and Fancy.

All our 100% Kona coffee is hand picked, washed, fermented, sun dried, raked, milled, graded and roasted for your drinking pleasure. We take great pride in our product and hope you will look forward to the “Cup I Look Forward to Every Day!

We roast our coffee a medium to dark roast. We call it Medium Plus. This roast allows the flavors to come to the surface to give you a great cup of coffee. It isn’t too light, and it isn’t too dark, it is just right.

We are members of the Kona Coffee Farmer’s Association and the Kona Coffee Council and qualify to use their “Seal of Approval” and are also registered with each of their “Estate Programs.”
